Who we are
Buddy Up is a small UK project run by [YOUR NAME]. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Your city (or the city you typed in).
- What you'd like to join, and whether you might host a plan (if you told us).
- That you confirmed you're 18 or over, and when you signed up.
We don't collect anything else. No tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't store your IP address.
Why
To email you about the Buddy Up launch in your city, and to understand which cities and plans people want, so we know where to start. If you said you might host, we may email you about hosting.
We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who sees it
Only the Buddy Up team. Sign-ups are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. We never sell or share your details.
How long we keep it
Until Buddy Up launches in your city and we've told you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If Buddy Up doesn't launch, we delete the list.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or stop the emails, by writing to [CONTACT EMAIL]. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
